COIN is Not Afraid of Connecticut Anymore

A play on their newest album title, COIN’s I’m Not Afraid of Tour Anymore swung by New Haven, Connecticut’s College Street Music Hall. Aidan Bissett opened up the show with a groovy mix of his discography. He finished the set with “Tripping Over Air” which got most of the crowd up on their feet.

COIN started out their headline set with the lights dim and Chase Lawrence sitting near the back of the stage. By the end of the first song, the album title flashed in huge letters for all to see. Fans were ecstatic to hear the new music while still getting the chance to sing along to old favorites. Their lighting design was beautiful and dynamic with a big screen behind the band and smaller lights above each performer that moved based on each track.

As always, COIN puts on an incredible live show that highlights their music in a way that’s almost indescribable. This tour in particular takes it to the next level by allowing the band to celebrate their new release while being able to look back on past albums. If you are or have ever been a COIN fan, this tour is a must see!
