Jake Scott and Josie Dunne stopped in Carrboro, North Carolina for the eighth show of their tour. They performed at Cat’s Cradle in the back room which is perfect for an intimate feel. Jake even joked that it felt like we were all in his living room.
Josie started her set with her song “Sunday Morning” which instantly excited the crowd. Her set was upbeat and fun and had everyone dancing. The room was filled with energy while she was on stage. Once it was time for Jake’s set, the atmosphere felt like a family. Everyone was singing along and taking in the moment together. Some memorable moments were when we sang happy birthday to a fan in the crowd, screamed “IN VIRGINIA” during his song “Tuesdays,” lit up the crowd with flashlights during “She,” and of course, when Jake covered Taylor Swift’s “All Too Well.”
Most of the upcoming shows on the tour are sold out, but keep an eye out for last minute tickets being added. The list of shows can be found here: www.jakescottmusic.com/tourdates
