March 4 at the Cornerstone in Berkeley, California was the kickoff of the ‘Love Letter Tour’ featuring headliners Just Friends with Graduating Life, Scratcher, Bears In Trees, King Of Heck, Cry Baby, and Pure Hex on select dates.
This date also marked the release of Just Friends’ recent album Hella, a twelve track album which includes some special features from Hobo Johnson and Lil B.
The next day the tour, March 5, featuring Pure Hex, Cry Baby, Bears In Trees, Graduating Life, with Just Friends, played at The Roxy in Los Angeles, California. For The Punks photographer Meryl M. was there to cover the event.
This is a big tour, not only for the recent success of Just Friends. It marks Bears In Trees first time in the United States! Bears in Trees are an English folk punk band from Croydon, South London, England. In October 2020, Bears in Trees announced that they had been signed by Boston label Counter Intuitive Records (CIR). We are super excited that we were part of this celebration.
