On February 26, New Zealand band The Beths played one of the final shows of their 2022 North American tour at The Sinclair in Boston, Massachusetts. The line was down the block full of excited fans and there were local photographers left and right, eager to capture the band.
Opening up for the indie-rock band, Lunar Vacation had fans new and old in the venue as the crowd sang along to each and every song. By the time The Beths came on, the energy was high and the crowd was ready. With their most recent single “A Real Thing,” along with their 2021 live album, the band came out with songs old and new, satisfying every fan in the room.
As “Little Death” came on, a personal favorite, I screamed the lyrics from the crowd just behind my camera. But I wasn’t the only fan with a camera. With phones held up across the venue, fans captured their memories of the night from photos to videos. And as the show ended, an enthusiastic fan even threw polaroids from the night on to the stage, documenting the absolutely spectacular show.
