The Driver Era Visits The Roadrunner In Boston, MA On The First Week Of Their Summer Tour

It’s a special day for everyone when The Driver Era is back in town! This band of brothers stopped by Roadrunner in Boston, Massachusetts on the first week of their Summer Tour. San Diego’s Almost Monday kicked off the show and got the crowd dancing to their indie bops for their entire set. Summer Salt played right before The Driver Era and had some majorly chill vibes that the crowd could not get enough of.

The Driver Era headline set was unbelievable. From the stage production to the song selection, every second they were on stage was memorable. They played their new single “Malibu” off of their upcoming album as well as an old R5 song later in the set to satisfy every listener in the building. The crowd went crazy when a fan named Joe was invited on stage to play Teen Beach Movie 2’s “On My Own” with Ross Lynch. A group of fans in the packed balcony even brought an old R5 blanket from their first album cycle.

The Summer Tour just started and is coming to your city very soon. Beginning in September, The Driver Era will play a wide range of dates around the world for all of their international fans. Their third album Summer Mixtape comes out September 16th, featuring “Malibu” (catch our review here).

This is a band for everyone and whether you listened to R5 back in 2010 or you started listening with Malibu last week, they put on a show you don’t want to miss! Tour dates and information can be found at https://www.thedriverera.com.
