High Water Festival To Take Place In SC On April 20 And 21

Coming to Charleston, South Carolina for its sixth year, High Water Festival will be taking place on April 20 and 21 at the Riverfront Park. With a panoramic view of the Copper River and a beautiful canopy of trees, this festival creates the perfect musical oasis for you to relax, enjoy your favorite musicians, and maybe even find a new favorite, or two, and spend time with friends. This is what Charleston is all about!

Headlining this music festival are two of the biggest names in the music scene right now, Noah Kahan and Hozier.

After his third studio album Stick Season was released in the fall of 2022, it’s been nothing but up for Saturday’s headliner, Noah Kahan. He found himself TikTok’s new favorite artist, and since the album’s release, it has gained him his first #1 song on the Spotify charts, as well as first #1 album. If you aren’t able to see Noah at High Water, he is currently about to start the North American leg of his ‘We’ll All Be Here Forever’ tour, kicking off in Vancouver, BC this month.

Andrew Hozier-Byrne, better known as Hozier, will be headlining the festival on Sunday, and it’s a set no one will want to miss. After four years of eagerly waiting for new music, fans instantly fell in love with Hozier’s third studio album Unreal Unearth. His ability to paint pictures with words and use of storytelling in his lyrics instantly captivate his audience. With an entirely sold out tour this summer, and multiple festivals on his roster, it’s safe to say that this is going to be a fantastic year for Hozier.

The rest of the lineup for High Water Festival includes some other incredible artists such as Fleet Foxes, Houndmouth, Grace Potter, Briston Maroney, The Heavy Heavy, and more that you want to be sure to catch! And the festival features two stages, Stono and Edisto, with alternating sets so you won’t have to miss out on any artist.

In addition to great music, you’ll also be able to enjoy some great food at High Water. Local restaurants and breweries will have food and drinks available for you to grab and enjoy between sets, or while you’re watching your favorite artist take the stage.
