On October 15, 2021, the indie rock band Japanese Breakfast, headed by Michelle Zauner, played a show at the Brooklyn Steel in New York with Luna Li. This show was one of four shows Japanese Breakfast booked at Brooklyn Steel with all being sold out. From October 14 to October 17, Japanese Breakfast ends their fall 2021 tour in support of the recent album Jubilee in Brooklyn.
Opening up the show on October 15 was Toronto based multi-instrumentalist and producer Luna Li. Luna Li has had a few releases this year, including the Flower (In Full Bloom) EP and jams EP. Both are these are amazing releases that we recommend listening to.
Along with Japanese Breakfast’s newest album release Jubilee, singer Michelle Zauner is the New York Time Best Selling Author of the April 2021 book Crying in H Mart: A Memoir. If you are looking for a new read by a musician, this is a great choice.
