Claud opened up Phoebe Bridgers’ “Reunion Tour” for a second sold out show at The Anthem in Washington, D.C. on June 12, 2022. Claud and their band radiated positivity on stage and the crowd loved them. They made sure to wish everyone a happy pride month whilst taking a pride flag from a fan in the crowd and attaching it to their microphone for the rest of their set.
The crowd was anxiously awaiting Phoebe’s performance. It was incredibly warm in the venue that night so everyone was encouraged to keep drinking water and staying hydrated — something to keep in mind if you are attending any shows this summer, whether it is an outdoors or indoors event.
Phoebe Bridgers came on stage with an intense amount of fire and the crowd lit up. She proceeded to ask if anyone had come the previous night and a few in the crowd had cheered “yes.” She had sold out The Anthem two nights in a row. The crowd was incredibly loud, screaming every word back at Phoebe and enjoying each minute of her set.
The stage and tour visuals that were displayed behind Phoebe while she sang were incredibly beautiful and a lovely addition to her already amazing voice. It is very clear that her and her team put a lot of thought into making this tour one that will be remembered by attendees. If Phoebe Bridgers is visiting a city near you on her “Reunion Tour” and it isn’t already sold out — definitely buy some tickets before they do!
