PVRIS held a concert in Columbus, Ohio on August 9, 2021 celebrating the third night of their Summer 2021 tour. For me, this was my first concert back since before the pandemic. Joining them was the band Royal & The Serpent. Even though the crowd was small, the energy was fantastic! Fans were absolutely sharing the euphoria of being back in this “new normal” with both bands.
Back in July when they announced the tour, PVRIS shared, “welcome to the new era. we are debuting three new songs on tour to give you an advanced preview of what’s to come. it’s about to get crazy.” Sure enough, they were right. PVRIS played 2 new songs that night. They have been working on new music during the pandemic. The newest release was “Monster,” which they started their set off with. Fans are anxiously awaiting more drops.
Express Live! (AEG included) and its crew agreed that based on Ohio’s COVID-19 guidelines, masks were optional for fans, but they encouraged them and it was encouraged to be vaccinated. Crew for both the venue and artists were required to wear masks. However, the venue has since changed its rules and requirements as of August 16th.
