Bright lights, great energy, and a crew of the raddest ladies I’ve ever met. I knew I was getting into something amazing, but Kiesza took all of my expectations and went above and beyond.
Before the show started, I met up with the band in their dressing room for photos. I was greeted by Ginga, the four-legged head of security, and the band debating on whether or not Topo Chico is the best drink of all time (which it totally is). This energy very easily moved onto the stage, where the banter and sheer talent shone through.
Kiesza is a vocal powerhouse, and backed by multi-instrumentalist Rayna Zemel and seasoned rock star Patty Schemel, this team isn’t slowing down anytime soon. I was fortunate enough to catch them at a one off show in Austin, and I personally think that if anyone is able to see Kiesza live, you should do it.
