JER

Recommended songs: “Clout Chasers” and “R/Edgelord”

It’s hot ska summer (again)! Over a month ago, JER released their debut album Bothered / Unbothered with ten new tracks and it’s one of our favorite releases of the summer. If you love ska or are looking to learn more about the genre, this album is a great place to start. The track “R/Edgelord” wasn’t a track on this album, but it’s still a notable and must listen track.

Recommended songs: “That’s Physics, Baby” and “I Hope You’re Right”

Pool Kids is a must listen to band this summer and it’s not just because they have the word “pool” in their name. The album is out now, be sure to give it a listen!

Tobe Nwigwe

Recommended songs: “Round Here (PART ONE)” and “Round Here (PART TWO)”

Earlier this year, Tobe Nwigwe treated fans with a slew of consistent, thought-provoking visuals. Nwigwe shortly afterward his performance at Something In The Water Festival released the visuals for “Round Here (Part 1)” and “Round Here (Part 2),” which caught our attention. Not only are the videos some of the best music videos I have watched this year so far, the music is catchy and on repeat. It’s everything you would want for the summer.
