Following their largest headline show ever the night before in Boston, COIN came to Wallingford, Connecticut on September 24 on their ‘Uncanny Valley Tour’. Miloe opened up the night with a set full of groovy songs from start to finish. The Dome at the Toyota Oakdale Theater was buzzing as the crew inflated the giant ladybug and revealed the grass carpet under the drum set.
Frontman Chase Lawrence always makes it a point to mention that the fans are part of COIN as well and that could not have been more true. Although the band has never played a proper headline set in Connecticut, everyone in the room was singing along the entire night as they played songs from their entire discography. A few people in the crowd even printed and handed out hundreds of pieces of paper with 10:05 printed on them for concert goers to hold up during “Let It All Out (10:05).”
Whether you’ve been a COIN fan since their first album in 2015 or just heard Uncanny Valley last week, COIN is a band that only gets better with time and they have so much left to say. Tickets and information for the rest of this amazing tour can be found here.
