At 22 years old, American singer and actress, Noah Cyrus, has fully stepped into herself as an individual. She is a talented young visionary who has honed herself within the past few years furthering her own music career.
Prior to the latest release of her debut studio album The Hardest Part in September of 2022, she was nominated for ‘Best New Artist’ at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2020 which then aired in March 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In July of 2022, Noah announced her first ever headline United States tour, The ‘Hardest Part Tour’ with opener Gigi and Noah’s writing partner PJ Harding. On October 19, 2022, I attended her sold-out show in Brooklyn, New York, at Brooklyn Steel.
The night started off strong with singer songwriter Gigi. Gigi was born in New Jersey but raised in Florida. She was still in college when she came across Cyrus’ music and resonated with it. Prior to opening for Cyrus, Gigi went viral on TikTok by sharing her music on the social media platform to opening for Coldplay for their Tampa, FL show at Raymond James Stadium.
Noah took the stage next as the energy in the room shifted from the lively upbeat performance that Gigi gave. She wore custom outfits from LA-based Fashion Designer L.V.D.F. her entire tour. Her stage presence was unmatched but was quite reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac’s, Stevie Nicks; all she was missing was her shawl and hat!
Cyrus moved with the words she sang as it was very evident she was confident in her identity with her own fans singing back to her.
