Waterparks’ ‘The Property Tour’ Visits Austin, Texas In Early June

On June 7, 2023 Waterparks brought ‘The Property Tour’ to Austin, Texas alongside Sophie Powers and Hunny.

The night started off with Sophie Powers, a young hyper-punk artist from Toronto on her first major United States tour opening for one of her favorite bands. Her high energy and great crowd interactions were the perfect way to get the crowd warmed up. Second up was HUNNY, an alt-pop band from California. Their funky 80s alt-rock influenced beats hyped the crowd up while playing their hits like “Televised” and “Shy.”

After a long day of waiting in a line the crowd finally got the Waterparks experience. Touring off their newest album INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, the band kept the crowd off their feet playing new songs such as “RITUAL” and “FUNERAL GREY” while keeping some crowd favorites like “Stupid For You” and even a deep cut, “Crave.”
