If you’re on the hunt for your sad girl summer anthem, Providence, Rhode Island’s, Another One Down! is here to help. “Stuck In The Wake (Acoustic)” is included on the band’s recently released A Bitter Descent Deluxe, an extended edition of their debut record featuring both new music and acoustic versions of songs from the original album.
“’Stuck In The Wake’ is told from the perspective of watching a friend go through a toxic on and off again relationship,” the band shares. “It’s about wanting to help but knowing the only way things will change is if the person ultimately chooses to help themselves.”
The band originally rearranged the track for an acoustic session, and after hearing the fan favorite in a more vulnerable manner, loved the sound and the vibe of the song. The alternate version of the track is the result of that session.
Another One Down! has played alongside a number of notable scene heavyweights including Four Year Strong, Metro Station, nothing,nowhere, Broadside, Meet Me @ The Altar, and played the 2018 Vans Warped Tour.
