Alkaline Trio Play in Austin, TX with Drug Church and Worriers

Alkaline Trio is currently touring across North America on their Blood, Hair and Eyeballs tour with support from Drug Church and Worriers.

Brooklyn, NY band, Worriers opened the show with punk tracks that set the stage with good vibes. Worriers played crowd favorites like “They / Them / Theirs” along with new tracks, “Hold My Breath” and “Trust Your Gut” off their 2023 release, Trust Your Gut.

Drug Church got the crowd moving during their set at Stubb’s. The post-hardcore band commended Alkaline Trio for drawing fans from multiple generations to their shows and encouraged moshing and crowd surfing before the night’s headliner. Drug Church played sounds like “Fun’s Over,” “But Does It Work?,” “Million Miles of Fun,” and, my personal favorite, “Weed Pin.”

Alkaline Trio took the stage in celebration of their newest release Blood, Hair and Eyeballs. Alkaline Trio played classics like “Mercy Me” and “Mr. Chainsaw,” and many tracks off their new album, including the title track and “Versions of You.” The punk trio ended the night with an encore of “Radio.”
