Alternative band, Real Estate, stopped at the Fine Line in Minneapolis this past week on their Infinite Jangle 2024 Tour. This tour follows the release of their spectacular new album, Daniel, back in February. The eleven-track album features a new take on their classic indie sound with songs fit for any mood. A personal favorite of mine, “Water Underground”, has made it onto many of my spring playlists and is great for fans of bands like Peach Pit and Mac Demarco.
Opening up the evening was Marina Allen, an indie-folk artist based in Los Angeles. Marina has quite the year lined up for herself as she tours in anticipation of her new album, Eight Pointed Star, coming out June 7th. An avid indie folk listener myself, I absolutely adored her set and will be keeping an eye out for any more singles she releases between now and June.
As always, Real Estate delivered an incredible show full of beautiful visuals and a perfectly curated setlist. With six full studio-length albums under their belt, the band has a lot to choose from when building a 90-minute setlist, and yet they choose perfectly every time. This tour is far from over and I would definitely recommend catching Real Estate in a city near you!
