Currently in its fourth iteration, Third Eye Blind has hit the road once again for the Summer Gods Tour. With support from Yellowcard and A R I Z O N A, it is an evening that any music lover will not want to miss. This lineup hit Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts this past weekend with fans packed in from the front row all the way to the very back of the lawn. A R I Z O N A started out the night with an energetic set and great dance moves.
Anticipation started building as Yellowcard took the stage shortly after. Fresh off a reunion and a popular headline tour in 2023, Yellowcard being back is something that will not be taken for granted. Dozens of fans could be seen in the crowd wearing vintage merch from the past twenty years of different Yellowcard tours they have attended. The band made sure to sing the most popular hits, but also included songs that the band felt like needed to be celebrated. This year just happens to be the 10th anniversary of my favorite Yellowcard album, Lift a Sail, so hearing several songs from it was a special treat.
To wrap up the night, Third Eye Blind’s headlining set was one for the ages. The stage design was beautiful and the lights perfectly encompassed the mood of every song. Their setlist was filled with songs from almost all of their albums, as the fans from the front row were screaming along to every word. Third Eye Blind has such a great stage presence that makes their live shows so much fun. The acoustic set near the end of the set felt very special and was such a fresh way to strip down some of these songs.
The Summer Gods Tour has a few weeks left, so definitely check it out if it has yet to hit your city for a night of great music and great performances!
