Reuniting for their first full-band tour in almost twenty years, Something Corporate’s Out of Office Tour is a massive event for any alternative music fan. The show in Boston, Massachusetts sold out almost overnight and was packed from floor to ceiling with SoCo listeners. Hidden In Plain View opened up the show and provided some nostalgia as the crowd got warmed up.
The cheers were infectious as Something Corporate took the stage. Their setlist was perfectly crafted and the stage had beautiful visuals matching each song. At different points in the show, the screen in the back played clips about each band member with footage from the early 2000’s. As the encore approached, fans were excited to finally hear “Konstantine” in full after the short teases from Andrew McMahon at other shows throughout the years.
To celebrate Andrew’s 19 years cancer free, the Boston crowd donated $6000 to the Dear Jack Foundation and also had the chance to hear “Miss America.” The Out of Office Tour continues in more cities this fall and you do not want to miss your chance to see these guys live again!
