Alec Benjamin’s 12 Notes Tour hit Charlotte, NC on September 20th at The Fillmore. The tour is in support of his 12 Notes album that dropped earlier this year.
Matt Hansen opened the show and set the bar high with a powerful and energetic set. He had the crowd singing along and holding their phone flashlights in the air. He covered “Iris” by The Goo Goo Dolls which had the crowd erupt into a singalong. And gave the crowd chills when he sang his hit “Let Em Go”.
Next, Alec Benjamin took over the stage, which was transformed into his bedroom. He began sitting at the piano and then jumped up to play “I Sent My Therapist To Therapy”. He made sure to connect with fans throughout the show, making the room of almost 2k feel intimate. You could tell every fan in the room felt connected to Alec and each other through the music. The storytelling throughout the night was beautiful to watch unfold. It made you want to go back again and again once the show was over.
