Embarking on the second leg of the Ultrapure Tour, Briston Maroney took over College Street Music Hall this month in New Haven, Connecticut. To start out the night, Minnesota natives WHY NOT opened up the show and they did a fantastic job.
Briston Maroney knows how to fill a stage. From the fun set designs to beautiful lighting, his performance is one that sticks with his fans. Along with several songs off of Ultrapure, he also sang a lot of older favorites. Briston’s band works perfectly in sync with him and their friendship is so clear while on stage together.
I first saw Briston perform a couple of years ago and was blown away by his talent. The venues have gotten bigger since then, but the emotion felt at a show feels the exact same. This incredible tour is just getting started and keeps going through the end of the month in many cities that didn’t see a stop on the first leg. Definitely check it out if you have the chance!
