Dashboard Confessional Comes Home to Connecticut

Starting off their 2024 Fall Tour in New England, Dashboard Confessional brought a killer lineup to Wallingford’s Toyota Oakdale Theater this past week. To kick off the show, Taylor Acorn got the fans ready for a fantastic evening of music. A few people on the barricade drove from out of state just to see her perform.

As the venue began to fill up, BOYS LIKE GIRLS took the stage. Their set was so much fun and brought back nostalgia to many of the concertgoers. Besides their old hits, they played a good amount of music from their newest album, SUNDAY AT FOXWOODS. As lead singer Martin Johnson promised, everyone would be up and out of their chairs by the end of their set.

Dashboard Confessional took the stage and started out with a full acoustic version of “The Best Deceptions.” The full band came out for the rest of the show and the energy went way up. Since Chris Carraba was originally born in Connecticut, he had a good amount of family and friends in the crowd. He was able to share stories between each song and found ways to connect to everyone in the audience. The setlist choices were perfect and songs were played from each of their albums. This tour just started and continues until the end of October so you don’t want to miss out!
