Wrapping up an incredible cross country tour, Sub-Radio and Moontower had one final night of the Past Selves Tour in Boston, Massachusetts last week. After selling out before doors opened, fans flooded the Crystal Ballroom and filled up the entire venue within half an hour.
Moontower started off the night with a bang. I’ve been seeing them play shows now for almost five years and this set was one of their best. The crowd was very enthusiastic and most people in the front row knew all of their songs. Near the end of their set, Michael from Sub-Radio sang with them in the crowd during “Bury Me” and played drums during “State of Mind.” It was such a fun crossover that showed their amazing support for each other.
Finishing off the night was a fantastic performance by Sub-Radio. Everything they played seemed to be a crowd favorite, including songs from an upcoming album that has yet to be released. After playing shows with Moontower on this tour since the fall of last year, this night felt like such a celebration of their accomplishments. Although these bands won’t be on tour together anymore this spring, make sure to keep an eye out for new music from both amazing artists!
