It’s such a rare and beautiful thing to see a room full of people completely invested in every band on the tour bill. Weathers’ My Friends Have Better Friends Tour with support from Moontower and The Orphan The Poet came to Hamden, Connecticut last Friday night. Fans packed into the Space Ballroom for a night for dancing and incredible vibes. The Orphan The Poet started out the evening with a high energy set that ended with their newest single “Feelin’ Good (Could Be Better).”
Moontower played next and had the entire crowd singing along to songs from their upcoming debut album. A big highlight was definitely hearing “State of Mind” after its release earlier this spring. As a Moontower fan since 2019, this has to be my favorite set from them yet. I always love getting the chance to see them perform and this time was no exception.
Last but certainly not least, Weathers closed out the evening with a fantastic headline set. They played songs from their past two albums and even some new songs from their next release. Fans brought confetti to throw during “C’est la vie” and it was the perfect way to celebrate such an amazing night. This tour is such a fun experience and you don’t want to miss it.
