Sydney Sprague brought her first headline tour — the “Somebody in Hell Loves You” tour — to Washington, D.C. this past Saturday.
Wheelwright started his set with a strong voice that the crowd immediately loved. He also played a couple of songs acoustic + without a microphone and his voice still filled the venue. He joked about buying one of his t-shirts to help survive the apocalypse. He also brought out Sydney for a lovely duet.
Sydney Sprague had some loyal fans in the crowd. She said she was nervous that since this was her first headline tour, no one would show up. But plenty of people came and she had a few fans in the front row that were having a blast.
Sydney is a very talented musician and singer — but she is also very humorous. She and her band were making jokes all throughout her set and the crowd adored them. She’s very relatable and it is easy to enjoy her live presence. I was glad to make it out to her first headline tour!
