To celebrate their new studio record, The Wonder Years set out on a massive headline tour with support from Carly Cosgrove and Hot Mulligan. This lineup hit College Street Music Hall in New Haven, Connecticut last week and was a night filled with crowd surfing and mosh pits.
It’s so rare for a crowd to give so much energy to every act on the stage, but they did just that. Carly Cosgrove played an amazing set that got everyone moving. Hot Mulligan came out and fans began crowd surfing before the first chorus was even finished. Their set included their two newest singles and a funny moment between songs where the entire room cracked their knuckles at the same time.
Excitement was in the air when The Wonder Years took the stage. Every person from the pit to the top of the balcony were on their feet. Despite their songs covering a variety of topics from wrestling to grief, “You in January” was a highlight of the set as the band stated on stage that they normally see several proposals happening every night during that song alone. Although The Hum Goes on Forever Tour wrapped up a few days ago, The Wonder Years still have so much left to show us. Check out their new album!
