Located on the sandy beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Hangout Music Festival is one of the most exciting beach festivals on the East Coast. Just in time for summer, Hangout will be taking place May 19 to 21.
The headliners for this year are SZA, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Paramore, Calvin Harris, Flume, Skrillex, The Kid Laroi, and Lil Nas X. Other acts to check out include flipturn, Noah Kahan, Mariah the Scientist, Sam Fischer, Rezz, and Beach Weather.
3 Day Tickets are still available on the site and can be purchased as single tickets; if you have a group attending, tickets can be purchased as a 4-pack at a bundle and save price. Ticket options include GA, GA Plus, VIP, and Super VIP, all with varying tiers. For a more premium experience, GA Plus is the ticket for you. In addition to general access to the festival, GA Plus offers access to the GA Plus Grove, which includes private air-conditioned restrooms, several food options, shaded areas to escape from the hot sun, and priority GA Plus entrance at festival gates. If looking for the ultimate Hangout experience, you can purchase VIP tickets. The VIP experience includes everything a GA ticket offers, but with front-row viewing of the Hangout Main Stage and Surf Stage, access to the VIP Grove that includes handcrafted beverages and a daily buffet, and access to stage-side pools.
An amazing lineup isn’t all that Hangout has to offer, as the additional activities at the festival are just as exciting. In-between acts, you can head to Roller Disco and go roller-skating with your friends, take your best pictures of the weekend at the Psychedelic Bus, a refurbished school bus turned art piece, and get married for real (or just for fun) at the Wedding Chapel.
As a previous attendee of Hangout Music Festival, I genuinely love this festival. Between hanging out at the beach and listening to a diverse lineup, Hangout makes for a great Summer festival you don’t want to miss.
