Tamino Amir, the rising indie-pop singer, performed a captivating concert on April 22, 2023 at the recently opened music venue in Chelsea, Manhattan, Racket NYC. The diverse crowd ranged from young adults to middle-aged fans who were eagerly anticipating his performance, much like his last tour! Joined by New Orleans-based openers, People Museum, Tamino performed popular hits from his debut album Amir and sophomore album Sahar.
People Museum set the mood with soulful jazz that had audiences swaying along to the rhythm of their songs. Lead singer, Claire Givens, was joined by band members Jeremy Phipps, Aaron Boudreaux, and Charles Lumar II as they prepped the crowd for a night of top-notch entertainment.
Tamino, back in NYC after extending his solo tour, continued to impress fans with his unique and powerful voice. He tested the waters and performed unreleased tracks which audience members welcomed with open arms.
His stage presence charmed fans, and he shared that he will be moving to New York City at the end of his tour. Tamino will continue touring the US/Canada before his final performance of this tour in Montreal on May 19.
