As it draws closer to summer, the touring season is beginning to kick into high gear. With endless show announcements, we have compiled a list of tours from artists of every genre that we are excited to see!
1. Leanna Firestone
Leanna Firestone embarks on her first headlining tour, “Least Favorite Only Child” Tour. In early 2023, Firestone released her EP Public Displays of Affection; the EP includes the single “You Just Didn’t Like Me That Much” which amassed over 4 million streams on Spotify. The tour will start on July 7th in Denver, CO at the Lost Lake Lounge and run until early August.
2. DRAIN
DRAIN announced their headline tour, “Living Proof”, and it is a party you don’t want to miss. The punk-rock quartet will be joined by Drug Church, Magnitude, Outta Pocket, MSPAINT, GEL, Combust, Restraining Order, and Gumm. The U.S. leg will kick off May 25th in Tacoma, WA, and end on June 24th in their hometown of Santa Cruz, CA. They close the entire tour on September 22nd at the Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark in Birmingham, AL.
3. Glare & Alien Boy
Alien Boy, aka the sunny and loud gay band from Rip City, is heading back out to tour with shoegaze band Glare on their headlining tour. The tour will start June 2nd at The Gremlin in McAllen, TX and end July 8th at the Mission Theatre in Portland, OR.
4. Heart Attack Man
Heart Attack Man announced their “FreU.K. of NA-Tour” in late March; the tour will consist of both a U.S. and U.K. leg. The U.S. tour will start on May 25th in Detroit, MI, and end on July 2nd in Lakewood, OH. Arm’s Length, Super American, and Photocopy will open for them on select dates.
Their new album, Freak of Nature, is out on May 26th on all streaming platforms.
5. Sanguisugabogg & Gates to Hell
Sanguisugabogg and Gates to Hell will be joined by Kruelty and Vomit Forth on the “North American Incisions” tour. The tour kicks off on July 11th in Pittsburgh, PA, and will end mid-August in Albany, NY. Deterioration will join them in Pittsburgh until June 16th in St. Louis, MO. Deadbody will also be joining them in Asbury, NJ on August 10th, until the end of the tour. Tickets went on sale this past Friday so get them now!
6. Arrows In Action & Honey Revenge
Arrows in Action announces their “Built to Last” tour for Summer 2023. Finish Ticket and Honey Revenge will accompany them on multiple dates throughout the run. The tour will start July 5th in Dallas, TX, and conclude August 11th in Nashville, TN. Their latest single “Checking In” was released on May 12th, and will be on their debut album Built to Last, which is set to release on May 26th.
7. waveform*
After joining Runnner on their latest tour, Connecticut duo waveform* are heading out on their U.S. tour starting July 5th in Atlanta, GA, until August 6th in Nashville, TN. Teethe and They are Gutting a Body of Water will accompany them on all dates.
Their newest album Antarctica was released on Friday, May 12th via Run for Cover Records.
8. Another One Down
Another One Down will kick off their Summer Tour starting June 15th in Bethlehem, PA until June 24th in Providence, RI. They will be touring with Dear Spring (6/15 – 6/18), MENU (6/19-6/20) and Sunday Morning (6/22-6/24). Their new album A Bitter Descent Deluxe is set to release on May 26th.

9. Erin and the Wildfire
Erin and the Wildfire announced their summer tour this past week! The Richmond-based quintet will start their tour on May 13th in Petersburg, VA, and conclude on September 30th in Charlottesville, VA. They’ll be stopping in Charleston, WV; Duck, NC; and Bethlehem, PA; there will be additional dates announced soon. You can also catch Erin and the Wildfire at Hulaween in Live Oak, FL from October 26th-29th.
10. AG Club
AG Club has had a packed year with new singles being released left and right and their “Road to Coachella” tour, a West Coast tour with dates leading up to their Coachella performance. Their next adventure will be the GW2 Tour with DJ Religion and OHGEESY, presented by True Religion. They will be touring starting May 30th in San Diego, CA to June 16th in Seattle, WA.
11. Young the Giant
Young the Giant is embarking on their impressive 49-city tour this summer with Milky Chance, TALK, and Rosa Linn. The tour kicks off in Asbury Park, NJ on June 2nd and runs until August 31st. To bring in the new year, they will also be headlining at “The Rock Boat”, the “World’s Greatest Floating Music” Festival in Miami, FL from January 30th to February 4th.
12. Maggie Rogers
Maggie Rogers, Soccer Mommy, and Alvvays are heading across the U.S. for the “Summer of ’23” tour. The U.S. leg will start July 24th in Charlotte, NC, and run until August 17th in Troutdale, OR. She will also perform at multiple music festivals throughout the Summer, including Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, and All Things Go. Maggie Rogers will also work with Musically Fed, a non-profit organization dedicated to “mobilizing the music industry in the fight against hunger” and AEG Sustainability to track the tour’s carbon footprint.
