Daena Isn’t Close Enough: New Single Review

Following her debut single “Overrated” that she released this summer, daena just released a sparkling pop track entitled “Close Isn’t Enough.” For fans of Emily King, Sigrid, and Betty Who, this Nashville based indie-pop queer artist is creating addictive hooks that you will never forget.

Daena hopes to inspire. “It’s important to help normalize queer relationships. Love is universal, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation or anything else – and it’s okay to feel that love as strongly as you do.”

“Close Isn’t Enough” takes your life to a new world; an intergalactic adventure. Honestly, this is one of my favorite releases of 2019. Not only does daena take the listener on a brand new adventure, the vocals are captivating. The release of “Close Isn’t Enough” makes me excited for what is next to come in daena’s musical career.
