PUP and The OBGMs rocked the house at The Civic Theater on September 12 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The OBGMs have been supporting PUP’s second leg of the “PUP Returns Thank Fucking God” North American tour. The OBGMs know how to pack a hard punch in such a small set, it had been a while since I saw a crowd so pumped up for an opening band. The OBGMs are a Canadian Punk Rock band based out of Ontario. If you were to check them out, fans of heavy punk can’t go wrong with listening to “All My Friends”, “Not Again”, or their newest release “Same.”
PUP knows how to deliver a fun and exciting show for their fans. It may not have been a packed house that night at The Civic Theater but it was a lively one. The more energy PUP gave on the stage, the crowd quickly followed. Between the entire crowd screaming every lyric to every song and a mosh pit half the size of the crowd, PUP knows how to create an enjoyable and safe space for everyone involved. PUP is currently on their European leg of this tour and will be until mid-November. Their next planned show in North America is on January 7, 2023 with Joyce Manor in Long Beach, California.
