Tulsa-based band Strothers kicked off their first co-headline tour with a hometown show at the Whittier Bar this past week. Sharing the stage with Midwest-indie performer Joe Bryant, Strothers will be touring around the Midwest and East Coast before returning to Tulsa again for a homecoming show.
This run of shows comes ahead of Strothers’ new album Half Life Lullaby out later this month, which makes the band’s second full-length album. Their first, Verses, came out at the tail end of last year, so it’s safe to say that the group has been keeping themselves busy to say the least. Unfortunately, this tour also marks the final shows drummer Joe Ray will play with the band. So, do yourself a favor and catch Strothers live on this tour!
