There’s almost nothing more exciting than getting to say these words: Yellowcard is back. Fans believed they had seen their last Yellowcard show ever when this band went on hiatus in 2017. But six years later, they are touring together again and have a new EP coming out this month. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album, Ocean Avenue, Yellowcard embarked on a national tour that hit MGM Music Hall in Boston, Massachusetts last weekend.
This lineup brings back fond memories of their Warped Tour days with opening support from This Wild Life, Story Of The Year, and Mayday Parade. Story Of The Year truly brought the energy and the crowd went crazy during their set.
Yellowcard took the stage and it was a very surreal moment to have them performing live again. The room was entirely sold out and filled with 5,000 Yellowcard fans ecstatic to scream their favorite Ocean Avenue songs. Their setlist even included the band’s new song “Childhood Eyes” from their upcoming EP. This tour just started and is hitting cities all across the US this summer, you should definitely go and celebrate their triumphant return!
