Not many bands can say that they host their own convention, but when your career is based on horror, it gives you a pretty solid basis for one. The Silver Scream Con located in Danvers, Massachusetts is hosted by none other than the ultimate Halloween band, Ice Nine Kills. This convention features omse of the most iconic names in horror history such as Tony Todd (Candyman) and Skeet Ulrich (Scream). There are tons more that are all available for photos ops and autographs from movies like Halloween 3, The Last Drive-In, Friday the 13th, Freakshow, and more!
On top of being an amazing opportunity to be surrounded by the horror community, there will also be panels hosted by Ryan Downey from MTV, Knotfest, and Loudwire. To top the weekend off, Ice Nine Kills will be putting on a killer concert with support from Inspirit and The Funeral Portrait. This show will take place on September 9 at the Lynn Memorial Auditorium.

The band Kerrang! calls “horrorcore icons” pay homage to the celluloid classics that first possessed singer Spencer Charnas as a kid on their No. 1 Billboard Hard Rock albums The Silver Scream and The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood.
In 2022, that demented love blossomed into an INK-curated horror convention! At the first The Silver Scream Con, movie lovers, casual fans, and INK’s beloved “psychos” chopped it up with the stars of legendary horror franchises, including meet-and-greets, photo- ops, cosplay, an INK concert, and MANY MORE surprises.
“The Silver Scream Con brought horror fanatics and INK fans from all over the world together to celebrate their love of on- screen slaughter”, Spencer noted. “This is the chance for our loyal psychos to not only interact with the band, but to meet the stars of the very films that our music pays tribute to.” And now Silver Scream Con heads into its second year taking over Danvers once again September 8 to 10, 2023 as the sequel everyone’s been dying for!
