The Summer Set Performs in NYC After Five Year Hiatus

After a five year long hiatus, The Summer Set is back together and fans could not be more excited. The Blossom Tour, featuring opening acts Taylor Acorn and Grayscale, passed through New York City last week for a sold out night at Irving Plaza.

Taylor Acorn started out the show and absolutely killed it. Grayscale came out shortly after and got the entire crowd moving, from the barricade to the back bar. When The Summer Set took the stage, energy was extremely high. They played for over an hour and a half, and people screamed at the top of their lungs for the entire set.

As an ode to their first album’s deluxe edition which included several Taylor Swift covers, the band played their iconic rendition of “You Belong With Me.” Before the night ended, The Summer Set members got off the stage and came into the crowd to sing “Back Together” with all of their fans under the giant Irving Plaza disco ball. It was so fun getting to capture their largest NYC headline show and we are so pumped that they are back and better than ever. The Summer Set will play its last show of The Blossom Tour in Nashville, TN.
